I upgrade my Macs periodically, but every time that I do an upgrade, some important files seem to end up orphaned and some hardware no longer works with the new Mac. In 1992 I was the only person in the office who had any experience with computers and every Friday when our receptionist was doing a backup the system would spectacularly crash. Now that was a dog of an OS…oblique and unstable. However it was far more stable than Microsoft’s 3.1 (which was better than 3.0).
